"We had guests travel in from other states to have the holiday brunch. We walked into the main room and there wasn’t ONE holiday decoration. Not a tree. No lights. Nothing festive. What a let down. Charge people almost $200 each (including mandatory tip) and have NOTHING cheery, Christmas inspiring or uplifting. I asked why the lack of any decorations and I was told there was a wedding the night before so they couldn’t decorate the room. In previous brunches, they’ve had live musicians a feature that made the experience special. For the holiday brunch no musicians and some canned music. They did have a Santa Claus. Shame on the Rainbow Room for cheaping out and not making a Christmas (very expensive) brunch feel special."

"If they want a loud, very expensive brunch, this place is for them. Pro’s: loud, turn up, half decent music. as soon as they are ribbed, and they are with a group of people, it will end up a good time. negatiw: they hold a line on the door. Why? I was confused when I would go to a club or restaurant; they do not take open tables reservations. let me say that again. they do not take open table reservations. I booked the reservation about 2 weeks, showed it to him, but they couldn't find it. they said that would “accommodate” us and that meant sitting behind the dj on the couch with low tables. close. that is not the movement and it turns out that it is about $100 per person. that is included with control and satisfaction. for $25 it would have been cool. $100? close sohn, this isn't the movement here, and the music is super loud. Why? can we just turn it off a bit. does not make sense. As long as you go up on your head, you should be good."
