"I really appreciate a good neighborhood bar, and The Timbers Saloon is definitely one of the best in Carson City! The drinks here a reasonably priced, and the rest of the bar is clean and well cared for. So if you are thirsty and want a nice place to hangout, than I highly recommend this bar!"

"Largest bar in the north of nevada. spotless clean, super friendly and helpful staff. a hidden gem. 06/21/2022 still the best bar in nevada. open at 0700 clock, fantastic service and the cleanest toilets of all time. great staff. not only forget cash, but there is a cash machine in front of location."

"Definitely a Yes.... Huge Tequila selection, very Southern Mexican leaning, service is over the top, food quality a real pleasure to enjoy. Small strip mall looking on the outside but opens up big on the inside. Decorations indicate a real Mexican establishment that has been around a long time. Probably a 5 star but I only ate there once though recommended by many locals who take business clients there."

"Of the long-standing Mexican restaurants in Carson City, this is the only one that I believe has maintained its quality of great food. Whenever I am visiting in town, I make a point of going to El Charro. I absolutely love their chile rellenos. Perfectly batter-dipped, topped with their delicious sauce and NOT smothered in cheese like so many other places do (excessive cheese is just a sign that the food is mediocre and can't stand on its own). Never had a bad meal there and the margaritas aren't bad either!"
