"14 euro for a can of sprite !!!! What a ridiculous price …. Pizza was ok but I can’t get past the sprite … wine a glass was $15 .. large bottle of water $10 … It’s Positano ….but really ????"

"Difficult to assess a restaurant of this type. do you value it for what the menhmoffer is? for the location? for the price? or for what it offers having behind a star? we take menu degoting course. excellent appetizer, good risotto, very basic the orata. good raw materials, well made dishes, few emotions. wonderful location, but this is merit of the square. fast service, so personal, error when just after ordering comes a room operator and leaves me the menu. Pre-baked dishes the right. coffee and small water pastry and gevurztraminer with list around at honest prices also insane for portofino. something needs to be settled."

"You can take a lovely, although steep, walk from the Church in Portofino to U Pin which is placed among terraces of olive trees with a lovely view and tranquil atmosphere. They have a fixed menu in which you get antipasti, first, second course and desert. They have a small but good selection of red and white wine, the whites being typical of the region (Pigato or Vermentino). Prices were reasonable too at around 20-25 Euros. It is an excellent place for couples and families and definitely something different from the usual fish and pasta that you will be offered in Portofino and Santa Margherita. Not entirely sure why some comments are negative about the prices and food that you get. I can only assume they went to a different place."
