"Now granted its in the downtown area of Tuscaloosa so parking is the biggest thing to find now that is totally fine. The wife and I went to eat with a friend of mine that I've not seen in years. With the popularity of Taco Mama and the closeness to college dorms and apartments and college housing the wait time was around 30 to 45 mins and that was just on a wednesday night. Now the service/wait staff supper nice and friendly. Menus are brought out to you as you stand in line which helps you when you get to the register to order. I enjoyed a well made shrimp quesadilla and when you order your toppings they are placed in individual cups so you can either add it to your quesadilla as you eat it or before you eat it. Now being as I was super hungry I ignored my utensils and just dipped my quesadilla directly into my sauces. Now I love my wife with my whole heart, with her she chose a safety quesadilla of just chicken and cheese she gave a 3.5 out of 5. I'm not the type to take photos of my food so there is no photo because I had nothing left to show. 10 out of 10 will eat here again"

"Food is good but if you're trying to place a to go order over the phone don't bother. They don't answer. I luckily live close by to the restaurant and just waited in the store for my order. No big deal, but I quite literally was hearing the phone ring off the hook and no one went to answer. They were not busy when this happened. Half the place was empty. Then, when it came time to place my order, the two working the front had a debate as to why the other should take my order (neither one of them wanted to). Very annoying experience."

"This was a terrible experience. The drinks were watered down, the chips were burnt, and the wait staff was really rude. When I made mention of the chips being a little over cooked you could clearly see they were brown and hard) the waiter seemed upset and snatched them off of the table, wasting some of the chips on the floor. There were also gnat flies flying around. I found myself fanning them away which was quite annoying. The staff members all seemed irritable and frustrated. I definitely won’t be going back."

"Came here on game day. Ordered the loaded macaroni and cheese without scallions. You can upgrade to brisket for $0.99 . The meal came with complimentary cheese biscuits and what looks like whipped butter. These were SO GOOD! It had a sweet aftertaste and were moist. Mac and cheese was good. The meat is nice and tender. Can't go wrong with Mac and cheese. It has good cheese sauce and even shredded melted cheese on top. The bbq sauce isn't your traditional thick sauce. It's more liquidy with a strong vinegar taste but still good! Overall a good meal. We'll have to come back to try some other menu items"

"My husband and I have been coming to Los Tarascos for years. He remembers when it was tiny space further east on Skyland. We just had another lovely meal here. I am so happy this restaurant has made it through the trials we have all faced owing to the pandemic. There's a clear reason: they are consistent. It is hard to sit down and not have salsa and chips in front of you within a minute or so. The frozen margarita is the best (well, there is one in Sebring, Florida that will give them a run for the money). And the shish-kabob with steak is so good. But best of all is the service. We got tshirts this evening and are so grateful to have this restaurant in our lives. Shout-out to the most incredible servers who have been there for years and the new faces. You all make the restaurant one for the history books!"
