"I very careful with passing the value Excellent, but this time it was EXCELLENT with capitals. Although I did not make a reservation, they squeezed me in at the bar rather at a table. But nevermind, it is the food that count plus, this gave me an opportunity to blend in with the Bavarians rather than sitting alone on my business trip at a table. The food was really fantastic! Waiters and the owner (Giuseppe) are very helpful and "sympatisch". Although I had to wait for the main course longer than expected, never mind it was because the place was loaded, and that is very obvious as they serve such good food in a very friendly and hospitable atmosphere. This is definitely a must go in Vaterstetten or if you are in the neighbourhood. Do not forget to make a reservation or do not make a reservation if you like to improvise and have a chance to meet locals. Whenever I will return to Vaterstetten, I will definitely return to il' Carretto and meet Giuseppe and his team again."
