"Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram at SNDTRAVELS Eat Well Travel Often for restaurant reviews from all over the country as well as photos and travel reviews. Looking for wood fired pizza, we came up with this place in Waxahachie to try.This is a full service Italian restaurant, not just pizza. I had the pizza with beef, mushrooms, mozzarella, and pepperonicooked just a little extra as I like mine as crispy as you can get it without burning. Thoroughly enjoyed the flavors from thecrust all on up. Good amount of crispness. The only issue was I asked for the pepperoni to be on top as I like it to crisp upalso, but it was actually on the bottom. Somebody didn 't pay attention. Diane had the Italian trio. Each of the 3 (cheesemanicotti, chicken spinach manicotti, and cannelloni) varieties were good in their own way. Good flavor and well done. Herfavorite was the spinach because the flavors of the ingredients melded together in a wonderful explosion in the mouth. Thecheese manicotti was good, but could have had just a little more spices added to make it really good. The Cannelloni was verygood with the chicken and mushroom filling. Again, the alfredo sauce could have been just a bit more flavorful. Overall, though,the dish as a whole was very enjoyable and would definitely be recommended. The only real downer was the free Flatbreadappetizer. While the flavor was delicious, the dough was almost raw and very chewy. When we mentioned it to Grace our server,she just said it depended on the cook. No offer to get some cooked or exchange it for more cooked just kinda "oh well, sorry "but in a sweet-kind way. Other than that she was very attentive and a great attitude. Overall we would definitely come back.Recommended two thumbs-up ???? ????"

"I order a lobster roll which totalled $17. It wasn't as big as a hot dog bun. I asked the server, and she said that was the correct size and apologized. It was supposed to be served warm and it was cold. The butter was not directly on the roll, and there was something in the butter so I didn't use it. Then there was a smell. I took a bite and had a huge shell. There was also an off putting taste like the lobster wasn't good. I didn't eat anymore after the first bite. It was my first experience and I will never go back. Maybe it was just an off experience but they weren't busy. Service: Take out Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1"

"Awesome food, although the menu is rather small. I had a meat pizzetta (individual pizza) and an ante pasta salad. The portions were good and the authentic Italian deserts were wonderful. We sampled the canolli, 3 types of cookies and the chocolate salami. I’m trying the muffalata sandwich next time."

"First time last weekend here. Everything was fantastic! We were about 15 minutes early for our reservation, but were sitting immediately. A waitress was on our drinks order. My wine selection was very good, service was attentive (including a few check-ins from the manager to make sure everything was okay). We started with the Mussels who were very good. For my main course I had the lobster ravioli, which was amazing with carving of the sea red lobster above. My husband had Bolognese made with calf, pigs and lamb on the top of home pasta. It was so good! I also had one side of Ceasar Salat, which was exceptionally good....I am super picky as I make very good homemade dressing myself...this tasty house made like the croutons and the Parmesan was big, fresh shave, not the dried shredded stuff. We shared a piece of New York cheesecake for dessert... it was the real deal for a jersey bakery, not like the stuff they often serve in this area. We had a lot of food and wine, so our bill was not cheap, but for what we got, we thought it was very reasonable. Prices were less common for this type of dishes and a good wine. We will definitely come back!"

"I'm giving this place a 4, as we could sit outside with grandkids. They had a ball running around. Server was Cipriano, but he didn't smile nor tell us his name. He did get our drinks in a timely manner and everything we ordered was correct. The Rita's were just ok. We had the queso dip, not bad, flautas beef, my sister loved them. Fajitas for 2 beef with leftovers. Kids had quesadilla and there was chip and salsa."

"We used to go to this place on Wednesdays, when they had the all-u-can-eat catfish. That was back in the good old days, pre-covid! I believe they have new owners, or have just changed the way they do things now because that is no more. Service was excellent, our waiter (and I can 't recall his name, sorry. has been working there for over 20 years, and he treats you like a friend. The entrees were good, and very large portions. We had fried catfish and chicken fried steak. Now, let me tell you about the appetizers...amazing! Usually, one doesn 't go on about those, but my goodness, they are excellent . We had fried mushrooms, zucchini, and onion rings. The individual mushroom and zucchini chip can fit your whole hand. They 're huge! Onion rings were massive also. The batter they use is super crispy, light, and flavorful. I am an onion ring fanatic, and these now rank in my top three. We have gone back since and ordered all appetizers only. They 're so good we made it our whole meal!"
