"I wish I knew what rating to give, I went there today at 2:00 pm on a Friday, 12-17-21 , and they are closed. Neon sign said open 12:30 -9 , no information on door letting you know what's going on. I'll try back another day, hopefully they didn't shut down as I live nearby."

"Came to The Chicken Koop while visiting friends in the Whitter area and we were in the uptown area. The inside dining area was pretty crowded, but the outside dining patio was pretty empty. It was a nice California day, so ate outside to enjoy the weather. Service was prompt from the time to walking inside to sitting down outside and placing our orders. Everything on the menu sounded good, so started off with some Hummus Veggies for an appetizer. Also, ordered 2 of the featured margaritas. Both appetizer and the drinks came out right away. The cauliflower and brussels sprouts were nicely charred and went well with the hummus and naan bread. Drinks were also good as weren't overly sweet or strong and had a nice flavored rim. Ordered the roasted chicken plate made Butter Garlic style with garlic fries and sweet plantains as the sides. I also picked the garlic spread and the green sauce as my dipping sauces. Food came out within 15 minutes and was grilled with a nice crisp on the outside, yet still juicy on the inside. Sides were good, especially the sweet plantains. The dipping sauces were a nice complement to the chicken. Both dipping sauces were good, depending upon which flavor you were looking for. There were a few other menu items that caught my eye that I will try on my next visit to the area."

"Loved this place when he was in the Whitewood Mall! I'm glad it survives and still runs. I feel that the taste changes over the years, but still super tasty. I love all new different types of pizza now. But nothing beats getting a piece of cheese pizza, grab an orange Julius and drive into the arcade."

"I was in the area so I decided to try this place. The food isn't bad but it's not good. A can of margarita is $10. It was good but overpriced. The wings are better than the pizza. The service was good and the food came out quick. I'd recommend the wings but there are places that have better pizza."

"Went for a relaxing dinner and the music that was played was uncensored rap music. I ordered a cheese quesadilla appetizer, it was brought with my meal. When I asked why it wasn't brought out before the main corse they said I had to request it. I thought thats what an appetizer was. I ordered the taco sampler, one chicken taco was so dry I couldn't eat it, this other chicken taco was to be broiled. It was basic shredded chicken, also dry, couldn't finish that and the pastor taco, I don't even know what that meet was. The final fish taco was so hard and dry, took two bits. Best part was the cheese quesidilla. Wont be going back. Food has really gone down over time."
