"This place serves consistently good food. I have had delivery a few times as I haven't wanted to cook and it always arrives as if it would if you were dining in. <br/ <br/ The chicken Parma was a huge serve; all Breast chicken and quality ingredients. <br/ <br/ The steak was terrific too but they forgot a sauce so it was a bit bland; the popcorn chicken we only got 4 tiny pieces so for the $15 that was a rip off! Tasty so would love more than 4 tiny pieces. <br/ <br/ Their side salads are some of the best in the area. Love the radish and salad greens they use! So tasty."

"I booked a table outside a couple of days ago so I could spoil mum for her birthday. Upon arrival we were advised that there were a few tables blocked out for a larger group so we sat in the corner of the courtyard. After...our drinks arrived and we were waiting for our meals , the manger approached us and said we had to move to the other side which was full of people and right outside the outdoor toilets . We refused her request as she was very rude to us . Another staff member was then deployed to ask us to move so we ended up leaving. We weren’t in anyone’s way and were only going to be there for about an hour . This is one local business I will never support . Appalling treatment of customers! Don’t waste your money or time"

"Quick meal mid afternoon after the movies. Interesting menu variably executed. Calamari starter a little bland and, for the price, a little mean. Kale salad really bright and well balanced but the fresh bean side flat, boring and under seasoned. The pizza had great, high...quality toppings but the base was criminally dry and unpleasant in the mouth. A major fail for any pizza restaurant. Adequate beer, wine and drinks list. Overall quite expensive for what it was."

"Cafe Republic took me by surprise. Honestly I haven’t seen it pop up on any social media or any foodies pages, so when my friend suggested it I was a little bit skeptical. However, it was a lovely brunch. Not overly flamboyant and the food was tasty along with very good service. <br/ <br/ I ordered the green breakfast bowl, the portion could have been a little bigger for me. The poached eggs were perfect, the pumpkin was sweet and delicious. And the greens were all seasoned really well. As I said feel the portion could be a little bigger or maybe a slice of toast could be added. <br/ <br/ The granola was huge! A great portion size. With plenty of fruit which I loved. The fruit was fresh and varied from blueberries to passionfruit. The panacotta had a lovely wobbly and hint of sweet vanilla.<br/ <br/ The service was fab, I didn’t want avocado with my bowl and they happily swapped it out for mushrooms. That’s something you don’t really get in Melbourne usually they still charge you so I loved that extra bit of customer care. <br/ <br/ A really pleasant surprise. A homely feel. I will visit again. :"
