"Decent hotel. Our room was a good size and the A/C worked very well. Location was good. The hotel has a ramp for water taxis and gondola rides. Not a bad place but probably wouldn’t stay there again."

"Ugh. For some unknown reason the staff at our hotel recommended this place and unfortunately the only reason I can gather is that maybe they know the owner?!? If I were you I would avoid it. It was the worst meal we had in all of Italy. We tried the squid and polenta, bruschetta, and creamed beans (which I thought would be the lovely cannelloni means but instead it was canned retried beans) all of which were salty but otherwise bland and sloppily presented but a waitress who would have much rather continued to chat up the bartender. If you are a nervous traveler the menu is translated into English, german, and Italian but from the service to the taste I don't have positive things to tell you. Walk on my friends this is not the place."

"After a long wandering walk from our hotel next to the San Salute Church, we were ready for a coffee or hot chocolate, and turning into this small square, we were lucky. Tables outside just waiting for thirsty tourists, not that there were any about. We sat in the sunshine, drinks were very welcome, and consulted the map to find where we were not that it really mattered. Getting lost in venice is half the fun"
