"The meal on n ew years eve was a demolition. slimmed down menu to 2.5 times the normal cost $85.) my ordinary scampi fattyucine had exactly 4 med big garnel for the regular size large suppen bowl of captiv. I usually dinee there all few months with many good meals there. this meal should be characterized by greed!"

The singer, Sharon Sills, delivered an incredible show, and the food and service by John were exceptional. Our special thanks to Shannon, who made everything perfect, including being seated at my favorite table. Shannon is really incredible. Thanks to all at the Purple Room for making our New Years Eve the best ever! And, thank you Michael Holmes for creating the best club in Palm Springs."

"So we made a reservation here for our 37th aniversary through open table. At the time of the reservation I indicated that we were celebrating our aniversary. We sat outdoors on the patio which was delightful and I would highly recommend. This was on a Sunday at 7pm. The patio was filled and very busy. I 'm giving all of this background in order to give our server Juan T. a break. I felt that we were ignored and rushed. The rest of the staff bringing the water, bread,food etc were delightful but Juan didn 't smile and was not friendly at all. He approached us asking for us to order and I asked if there were specials...sure enough there were...if I hadn 't asked, I wouldn 't have known. When they broughtthe entrée, he was no where to be seen...and I wasn 't able to ask for Parmigiano that he was offering the tables around us. He brought the check not even asking if we wanted dessert. And finally, there was absolutely no acknowledgmentthat it was our aniversary. I 'm not asking or expecting free 'stuff ' but a simple happy aniversary would have been appreciated. Juan 's lack of attention and service reflected poorly on the restaurant. Now all of that being said, the foodwas excellent. We shared the carpacio. My husband had the filet mignon with green peppercorn sauce...excellent! I had the risotto pescadora..also very tasty. We will go back to give it another try"

"This place could be great, but it's not there yet. No wine list, and the owner said his bottles were so expensive he did not bother to list them. We were offered a $65. bottle. Chose a $7. glass instead and it was vile. Food was mediocre at best (veal piccata). Husband loved his lasagna. Owner was waiting tables and getting drinks, and I believe even cooking part of the meal, until another staff person arrived."

"Walked down to the restaurant after shopping, had someone in the family with a wheelchair and our server adapted quickly and removed the regular chair so they could sit in their wheelchair at the table. Everyone there was super friendly and waited on us ordering. They also gave me a pizza menu because I didn't see it on the regular menu, and the food was delicious to starters to dessert. I didn't see many parking spaces available but I wasn't parking anyway. Also we didn't even have to make a reservation they just sat us without hesitation. Great place going again today!"
