"A cosy small bar with a mystic saloon vibe. Cool cocktail list. Great range of local wines. Small menu of bar snacks, including some great vegetarian options. Although the staff sadly couldn't accommodate my request for a hot whisky toddy (they don't have the set-up yet, although that may change), the waiter was able to recommend an excellent glass of red. We had some hummus with bee pollen and fingerlime (!!) with bread and it was delicious. Recommended!"

"A new pop-up bar has been created in adelaide for the Fringe/Mad March period, with the escape of club cubano on union street in east end. photo courtesy of me marketing. if the idea of Cuban inspired cocktails, latin beats and South American themen tapas seems like their causes, then this mr. goodbar creation will be their evening destination of choice."

"5 star food and service experience! I started with some fresh bread which had clearly been baked that day and was delicious. For entree I had a classic seafood cocktail. The waitress explained that the chef's was inspired by the 80's with this dish. Well, I remember it from the 70's and it consisted of many tiny prawns arranged around the edge of a stainless steel bowl filled with shredded iceberg lettuce and served with a delicious cocktail sauce. The only difference with the Mayflower's version was that they were large, plump prawns and there was only three of them. It was delicious but over fairly quickly.

For mains I ordered the ricotta gnocchi with peas, fava beans, goats' curd and pea tendrils. This was a delicious meal. The flavours were gentle and the gnocchi was light - nothing like the heavier potato version.

Unable to squeeze in dessert I sipped on some wine before heading off very satisfied."

"We had a truly wonderful experience at Level One. First of all, service was amazing! All the staffs were warm, welcoming and friendly. Special mention to our primary host, Katie, who was absolutely delightful from start to finish. She was sweet yet professional and very knowledgeable with the food menu as well as drink recommendations.

We sampled quite a variety of the dishes and they were mostly very delicious, mind you with quite the price tag.

The pork ribs were definitely the stand-out dish, they were slow cooked to fall apart beautifully with a rich smokey BBQ sauce that was packed with flavours and then charred to perfection.

The scallops had an impressive flavour combination, very small portion but they were so tasty.

Sirloin was decent, the miso yoghurt sauce pairing was a tad odd, the acidity of the yoghurt didn’t quite go with the richness of the steak. The cut had quite a bit of fat on but there’s no need to shy away from it as we found it... read more"
