"We were very happy with our visit to Sylvia's. We arrived early and had a drink in the lounge adjoining the bar, then went to our table and chose our meals from the menu (with great difficulty as it all looked very appealing). My taste buds are tingling just thinking about it.You would probably class it is a special occasion restaurant as the prices are quite 'up there' - but so worth it. We won't wait for a special occasion to go again. You always get what you pay for, and the chefs at Sylvia's have what it takes to keep the diners happy.Desserts were great too - perfectly made Creme Brulee - yum!!Waiter service was not intrusive, and we thoroughly enjoyed our night."

"Casual atmosphere, laid back service which was nice and unrushed. Good drink range, slightly limited vegetarian options. Enjoyed my Barramundi although the price was a little steep for what was delivered in the context of the location, service and atmosphere. Not related to this establishment, but was disappointed to see a couple let their dog walk across a table and later lick water if the table; why do people do this. Animals do not belong at restaurants and do not belong inseats or tables - leave them at home and strictly at your feet where they are your problem."

"This has definitely been a whisper on the ears for quite some time now. All that has been heard about it was good news, and it is one of the best places for breakfast in town, and that was especially good because it is more or less a local place. Making a hit list is a dubious task, since it inevitably expands and some are left hanging there for a long time. In the end, the important part is that they were tried and there was an opportunity for the Rabbit Hole Cafe one Friday morning for me. <br>

"Was expecting great things here, but the coffee didn't cut it for me. Had a rather bitter taste & a huge amount of foam with not much crema. The barista was nice enough & they do some simple freshly prepared breakfast dishes<br>
2/7/16 Actually decided to try again as I was with my partner & the planned breakfast venue was closed so this one was the first we passed as an alternative. The coffee was better this time around & I loved the avocado with dukkah. Partner was unimpressed with his eggs, as one was broken & overcooked & hidden by the good one which they sneakily placed on top"
