"Very simple, simple menu burger, steak, curry and a few fish dishes. eating was good, not excessively expensive, but since the place was practically empty there was no atmosphere. it was as if the feeling of the opportunity was overlooked, not. make sense, but so it felt. in fairness the bar area is great, the initial greeting was warm and friendly, which only emphasizes the lack of imagination from the kitchen. after reflection we will not be back again."

"Our second visit to the Firehouse this evening, and it was a culinary delight once again! Incredible food, packed with flavour, and all the while sitting amongst the gem that is St Ives. Book a table, you won’t regret it! Thank you again to all the staff for an excellent evening meal"

"We haven’t been to the wine bar for a while, pandemic and all that stuff. We absolutely love the wine bar so arranged to meet friends there for a six o’clock wine. Wasn’t that busy and we were seated quickly, ordered our drinks and wine...and all was good. BUT! It’s November and the it was soooo cold, staff wouldn’t close the door and claimed they didn’t know how to switch on the heating, there is a fairly new heat pump air conditioner there, so should be a click of a button. Having not been for a couple of years we remember it a a cosy, warm, funky place to be and thoroughly enjoyed our visits but last night it was so cold and draughty that it spoilt our visit, we sat in our coats and didn’t stay as long as we planned. Needs a little tweak to bring back the warm, cozy inviting, don’t want to leave atmosphere The temperature was cold and the atmosphere was cold."

"A great dog friendly find. We were looking for a place in Falmouth that accepted digs and did a cream tea. We were delighted to find this not for profit quirky little place. If you ask to sit outside they have a balcony overlooking the...marina which is highly recommended. The scones were a lit tile dry but everything else made up for it and we are sure they will get that right next time. Would recommend to friends visiting Falmouth."
