Are you kidnapped? fantastic atmosphere and better service, but the most surprising — eating and drinking cocktails were from the chart! exceptionally fantastic! really a great experience. appetizer by poblano fries and chips salsa large. tequila meerjungfrauen water equally large. pork chop, from this world. lachsgericht spectacular with the brittle outsprüchte? close the door. sooo good. filet with poblano was ridiculous. we've got coffee, we've seen and we've got some tequila ready! they really enjoy a jewel in lubbock. ohhhh and our server were spectacular. beautifully made by all."

"Service was great from Victoria. The food was good. The silverware and glasses were not. The dishwasher needs to be cleaned. The glasses and silverware had buildup on them. That’s the only bad about our meal. Otherwise we will be back. Oh, and they didn’t have grapefruit to make a salty dog, but that’s no big deal. I prefer clean dishes and silverware over the drink."

"We wanted to get off campus to celebrate our daughters’ birthdays. Our meals were excellent! The service was attentive. If the food would’ve come out 10 min. earlier, I would’ve given Rain Uptown 5 stars. We had pasta dishes, filet Gorgonzola, pizza and desserts. All superb. Definitely a more leisurely pace, but a nice change from the typical Tech dining options."

"Excellent dining experience and the food is amazing. I had the virgin watermelon and lime margarita and it was awesome. This is a small, cozy restaurant and very intimate. Highly recommend."

"To start our evening off the waiter was incredibly untrained and unprofessional. It took forever to get our order, to get our drinks, to get them refilled, to take our order⦠Etc. it wasnât until one of the managers came over to check on us before our service was better, but only because she started taking care of the table instead of the actual waiter. She did everything she could do to try to make the evening and on a better note but overall the entire not left a bad taste in our mouth. For the cost of what we ate and the total of our ticket it was not worth the poor service. I would not recommend."
