"My two sisters and a family friend, were so sad to finally manage to stop and try this restaurant after many years, as every time we drove by it just happened to be closed. Also, with all the wonderful reviews it seemed like a wonderful place. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. At first we did not realize what was happening and thought we may have just arrived on a day the woman serving us was having a bad day. We were told a table would be cleaned for us, yet after waiting sometime, we just sat at it and moved the dishes to the end and waited for sometime for someone to approach us. After a while I went to the front to inquire whether it was waitress and menu service or whether we ordered at the front and took it to the tables ourselves. I was told someone would be with us shortly, so I asked if I could have a menu. Meanwhile the waitress came by and seemed annoyed or stressed. So I took the one menu back to the table and shared it between the 4 of us. Finally the waitress came to clean the table and answer a few questions about the menu, but as I started to order, she said she would be back to take our order. Then she clean two other tables, sat a new one, took the orders from three tables and basically just ignored us. While she was serving drinks to a table who had come in much after us, I began to feel like we were being ignored on purpose. When I looked at her with a "can you please take our order" look, she sort of shrugged and walked away. I said I get the distinct impression we are being snubbed, but had no idea why. Although as soon as we got up to leave the waitress cheerily said "Sorrrrry Ladieeeees!" It was very condescending and still I had no clue. Until we were walking up the street and I realized my sister was wearing a shirt that said "Paint the town Queer" and sports a rainbow heart on her left shoulder. We were absolutely polite and waited patiently over an hour for service, while everyone around us was served. I have never experienced that kind of discrimination before! I do not care how good the scenery or food it, the behavior of that waitress was totally tasteless and disgusting."
