"We love to come here as the food is super delicious but sometimes we don’t get good service…. Maybe the staff is tired sometimes and we understand that. This time we got exceptional service by one of the staff… she looked new but she was outstanding. Her name is “Thuvaraka”. I want to thank her for being the best and giving us the best customer service possible. Her service was much appreciated. And as always, food is awesome… the owner himself is amazing ?"

"Happened to be in the neighborhood and we dropped in for a an early supper. The menu was moderate in its variety, the restaurant itself was neat and clean. We settled on a variety of starters including Idly's, Dhai Vada's and Pakora's. All came in a short while. We did not know what we were going to get but once we started eating, it turned out to be amazingly good. The food was freshly made and really tasty. The Dosa's we had ordered were a simple Masala dosa as well as the Mysore Masala dosa. All were really good, hot and served with the various chutneys and sambar's. Would definitely go back on our return to Vancouver. It's a bit out of the way if you are downtown but with the food being so tasty, it would be worth the trip."

"In a city with a large South Asian population you would expect good South Asian food, In fact, it is not easy to find good South Asian food in Van (Unlike Toronto, London, New York or Nairobi). There are endless trendy "Asian health food" places, many of which have the aromas and ambience but not the taste, and there is so much more to South Asian food then the BC version of Butter Chicken or the BC version of Samosa!This place prides itself in its South Asian food and its Dossa's are to dream off. The Thali's too are great, and each dish really is different to the next."

"Interesting experience at this restaurant. Service was amazing but I noticed the management wasn’t so kind towards them, that coupled with hearing from a friend the servers don’t get their tips left a bad taste in my mouth.Don’t order anything on the menu that isn’t South Indian because you’re bound to be disappointed. We ordered Biryani and dosas, the biryani wasn’t great (more like a dry goat curry with rice). The dosas were good but the chutney on one looked very dried up and the sambar on one was thick like a thanksgiving gravy, it was really weird.It’s ok in a pinch but not my first choice"

"We visited House of Dosas for lunch during our recent visit to Vancouver. 1) Good tasty/crispy/fresh dosas they have a ton of varieties and we tried a few and loved them 2) Service is good food was served piping hot within a reasonable...time 3) Parking can be a challenge and please be prepared drive around a little before you find a spot"
