"Millie's All-Day Dining will be added to my Under The Radar Good Eats List. The restaurant caters to not just the walk-in restaurant guests but also to all of Microtel UP Technohub's in-room dining and banquet services.

Millie's may be known for their international cuisine offerings such as their Prawns Thermidore, Grilled Marlin with Tropical Salsa, and Baby Back Ribs but they also offer Filipino food staples such as the Tinola, Sinigang, Adobo, Crispy Pata, etc all good for sharing for prices ranging from P300-P400.

China highly recommends the following from Millie's Menu:

•Burrata Caprese P550
(Really, really good Burrata cheese imported from Italy)

•Seafood Marinara P310

•Hainanese Chicken P350 (Even though they don't actually specialize in Singaporean cooking, this was actually pretty good)

•Artisan Gelato Siling Labuyo & Orange Swits P220 (A Bicolano foodie with me commented this was way better than the ones in Albay)

•Artisan Gelato Straciatella P220

•Mango Graham Smoothie P160 (Really good Mango Shake with Cheesecake, Whipped Cream, and Wafer Sticks.

"

"I wanted to try Go Salads for the longest time. Whenever we are in the Katipunan area, i always tell myself... "You have to swing by Go Salads"

Alas, this review is for their Eastwood branch. We never had the chance to visit the Katipunan branch as it is out of the way. The route back to Marikina is via Balara. Geography aside, we decide to have dinner at Go Salads. The space is small and can probably fit 10 people.

Sgt Steak Salad. I've read rave reviews about this baby hence the anticipation. Sadly, i got schooled with the difference between expectation versus reality. It is an oversight on my end as i didn't review the menu prior ordering and i can't seem to remember the reviews I've read. I didn't mind that the salad is only comprised of four ingredients (mushrooms, seared steak lettuce and chimichuri dressing). I wasn't wowed with it, i guess I am used to ze extravagant kind (Salad Stop). And the seared steak is a lil tough.

Maybe I'm better off getting their smoothies next timew"

"The baked salmon I ordered was a bit dry. The mashed potato that goes with it though was fantastic. It's not bad but it could be improved, perhaps not overcooked next time?"

"The Rio (PhP 695) is a phenomenal plate with one whole hearty peri-peri chicken with java rice, java garlic rice, fries, and tortilla. The chicken was perfectly cooked and amazing with all the side dishes. It came out really juicy in the middle and somewhat charred outside. The staff said that the Rio Peri-Peri is one of the best things on the menu, and we agree. It’s a solid order with a “yes” factor to the taste.

Topped with grilled peri-peri chicken strips, onions, tomatoes with perinnaise sauce, the Ala Peri-Peri Pizza (PhP 350) was another great entree that can represent what Peri-Peri chicken is all about. Chicken strips were on point texturally with a nice interplay of hot-off-the-grill, savory and rustic flavor. It’s easy to be head-over-heels with this one!

rochkirstin.com"

"Señor Pollo is one of the few places I keep coming back to when craving for really good chicken. Found them way back 2014 and been returning ever since Their fried chicken is always worth the 20 min wait. Huge portions, well seasoned, always juicy, cant complain Garlic mashed potatoes and mac and cheese were a little bland but nothing a little salt and pepper cant fix."

City: Quezon City, Merkanto: International Street Food Fair, 38 Mayaman Street, U.P. Village, Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines
"Merkanto's concept of putting together famous street foods from different countries was really amazing. People can enjoy variety of dishes in just one food park. Merkanto offers street food from Morocco, Indonesia, India, Brazil, and Vietnam.
Place:
Surprisingly, merkanto is located inside a carwash..so while enjoying their food, customers can also avail carwash services.
The food carts are designed per country's theme. There are few tables and chairs. There's also a sink installed in a bicycle, but my favorite was the lights in the bamboo that were decorated to look like a tree branches.
Food:
I had the Maakouda from Morocco and chicken satay from Indonesia food cart. The maakouda, as described by the server was a deep fried mashed potato topped with mayonnaise, cheese and herbs. This dish was delicious, a combination of soft and crisp. The chicken satay was grilled to perfection. It has peanut butter sauce which compliments the juicy chicken.
Service:
Everyone was really nice. Customers are very much curious with the dishes they are serving thus they have many questions and all the crews were very much happy to answer and help their customers decide on what to try.<br br br"

"Place has a cool ambiance, very chill vibes. Black and white motif worked well. Location is quiet far from the busy streets of Tomas Morato, hence, the few diners.

We ordered grilled salmon and porterhouse steak. The salmon was fresh although it tastes okey. Nothing notable. For our steak, we had it cooked medium. Its sweet and juicy but not that tender. Also, parts which shouldnt be there were not removed. The rice which is in a form of star seems not newly cooked. The iced tea was okey at 30 pesos. I mean, its better than the large drinks at fastfood chains given its price. So yeah. Just basic. But i guess i can come back for another round so im rating it at neutral for now

cravingetcetera.wordpress.com"
