"A few days ago when I was getting dinner. It was taking forever. I first thought because they all of sudden got slammed. I had already been waiting 30 mins or so. It came my turn and I was pleased seeing two workers sitting and talking. Especially near food. Without have her pulled back. Seemed like the other two that were on shift were trying to get everything prepared and out. Which took another 10 to 15 minutes to pay and get my food. Really looked like my cashier was really going through it. Still no excuse not to greet customers in a friendly manner. Or wish them a good evening like almost ever fast food place I have gone to. I?ve always loved the food. Was there even a manager on shift? Adult supervision needed because that wasn?t okay. That?s not why I?m giving two stars. It?s because of what I witnessed. I worked in the food industry and that wouldn?t slide. Period. For a fast food place. Wasn?t ?fast? at all. My food wasn?t as warm when I got home and tons of hard pieces. The rolls were excellent as always though. Seen in the picture I attacked."

"These people do it right. my wife had a little steak last time and she loved it. this time we both had the 14 unzen ribeye. that was a better steak than I had in a self-proclaimed steakhouse. it was perfectly cooked. tasteful and delicate, the best part was, it was just $19.99 we had some pretty bad steaks elsewhere, which cost up from $30. everything we had was very good. the service is excellent. I am sold on cheddar’s."

"We absolutely loved our dinner at OHMS. We were visiting Amarillo for a couple of days and staying at the Barfield downtown. I researched dinner spots and this place seemed to be the best choice. It was exactly the right choice. I called about two weeks ahead and was able to get reservations at the time we wanted. We started with cocktails. They were both good but the bourbon old fashioned was better than the gin cocktail. And the old fashioned here was better than a similar drink at the Paramount Recreation Club next door, the Speakeasy in the basement of the Barfield that you gain entry by buying Paramount cigarettes from an antique machine (suddenly the door behind you opens and voila you 're in). Back to the main story... For appetizer we shared a special of the night, the crab cakes. They were perfectly seared and they were bursting with crabmeat. Spiced just right. And the accompanying sauce, we wanted to lick the plate clean. They were really good. For the mains, one of us had Elk and the other had Chicken. The Elk, recommended medium rare, was oh so tender and moist. The local mushrooms that accompanied were worthy of their own dish. The risotto at the bottom was also good. Unfortunately the photo doesn 't show a dish as delicious as it was. We were surprised a little that the Elk wasn 't more gamey tasting. It 's not a bad thing, just was a surprise. The chicken was also outstanding. Crunchy and moist. The asparagus was firm but tender, and the mashed potatoes were excellent. I must say it could have used a little more gravy as all that gravy was gone a bit before the chicken was. But then i am a sauce guy. No room for dessert. Would love to visit for dinner again! "The chicken fried chicken was delicious and the filled burger too! We were thrilled to eat the steak we had seen photos of the reviews, but it is no longer on the menu. Fun bar atmosphere. The kitchen ran back when we left and the bathrooms needed cleaning."
