"Located in the heart of the Old Town is Atlstadt Restaurant, a very traditional German restaurant I always look forward to visiting on any trip to Dusseldorf I take. I love the look of this restaurant, a superb interior, great decor and furnishings including a...cool looking serving bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this restaurant and as an added bonus it was beautifully decked out for the Christmas period. We were here on a Sunday night, we were shown to a table for two were a very pleasant member of staff served us a Schlösser Altbier each while we checked out the menu, the beers were excellent, Dusseldorf is justifiably famous for its amazing range of Altbier's and Schlösser Altbier is one of my favourites, a dark,malty beer bursting with taste,very easy to drink indeed. For our meal we both opted to have wurst,mashed potatoes and cabbage,after a shortish wait our meals arrived and what a great treat,3 types of sausage which were so tasty,potatoes were fantastic and the cabbage just perfect,the mustard served here was also so good ,all in all a really good meal. We moved on after our delicious meal and beers and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Altstadt Restaurant is easy to locate along Berger Straße, a street and area teeming with pubs,bars and restaurants and some amazing architecture and a major tourist destination. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, 11.30am till 11.30pm. A great restaurant, well worth checking out if your in the area."

"The above citation has been paid to me today by a co-worker of the house krichel, when it was about paying a teller dish with fish and vegetables, and I was additionally charged the kartoffel supplement, although I did not order it. fish with or without potatoes costs eur 11,95 euro, the eur 2,95 extra, "that the chef has arranged so that he wants to earn as well in a pacific way". (O-Ton of service skill) okay, the prices are already very high for a bite anyway, so crisp crickly knows how to bury customers, but maybe the common düsseldorfer isn't that pingely. before a week I visited the snack on Saturdays at 17 o'clock, this time it took a little longer until a worker served me, who then said it was no longer ready to fish. (why are the opening times declared until 20 o'clock if there is no more 2 1/2 hour before)?"
