"Went on a Sunday right when they opened. There was a baby shower going on so we decided to sit outside. Atmosphere was good, service was quick. Drinks were tasty and beer was cold. The 4 of us went the cheaper route and all got burgers. All the burgers were cooked perfectly and came with fresh cut fries. 1 of our party got dessert and she said it was amazing. 4 people, 240 bucks including a 20% tip, not bad at all. Will venture back for burgers or to try something else. Overall experience very good. The boardwalk is also a stones throw away to work off a filling meal."

"Jekyll and Hyde!I left today because I sat at the bar for 15 minutes and couldn’t get a drink. You wouldn’t think it would be that hard at 4:30 in the afternoon but the bartender had better things to do like chitchat with the few people sitting on the other side of the bar.I’ve had really great food here, but I also received a whole chicken breast on a bun once.If you are here on the right day, it’s a really great place but it can also be just the opposite."

"I have been wanting to come here for a while now. I haven 't been back here since they moved to their new location. I had the Brut Cider which was very tasty! It is a drier cider which I appreciate. I had also tried the Cascadia Blonde Ale which was good if you don 't like a very hoppy beer. Their strengths are definitely the drinks, the food could definitely use a little improvement. I had ordered the Pulled Jackfruit 'Wich with the Brussel sprouts on the side. The after taste of the Jackfruit was unpleasant. I don 't know if it was the preparation of it or if the shelf life of the Jackfruit was older. The Brussel Sprouts had absolutely no flavoring even thought they were honey glazed. When I go back again, I will definitely enjoy the drinks and order something different. I do have to say the space and esthetics of the building are very cool! The apple boxes of the local farm names on the wall puts a great local touch."

"The Bluffs took me back to the kind of meal my Grandma made when I was a kid. And the Homestyle Vegetable Sides Plate might be one of the best I’ve had! For my four sides, I chose collard greens, mac-n-cheese, broccoli and candied yams. I know that I shouldn’t call it a veggie plate but the bacon in the greens and mac-n-cheese is just how my Grandma did veggies and that works for me! The yams, like everything else, were obviously made fresh and also absolutely delicious. (Generous serving sizes as well! Our server Allison took wonderful care of us and was attentive without hovering. The Bluffs was such a cool “find” on the Blue Ridge Parkway. My wife and I look forward to stopping in next time we’re hiking in Doughton Park!"
