"I was very disappointed when I took my relative to Kinkao Thai Resturant who have taken over from Elephant Royale. When we called to book a table the lady that answered the call was hesitant with giving out her name found her rude with no customer service skills. I only came to eat here as the views are amazing and hoping the quality of the Thai dishes would be the same as Elephant Royale. When we ordered the starters and main the food was awful not even worth the money we paid nearly £80. The service was poor we were waiting a while for our food to arrive. The waiters don’t even come over to the table to see if your enjoying your meal. I was disappointed anyway when Elephant Royale closed down both their restaurants it’s a real shame. As Elephant Royale was one of the finest Thai restaurants and good quality food where me and my friends, family would go out and eat on a regular basis"

"Both this contribution and the next couple that will appear on my blog are planned as I am currently in japan on a tour! and strangely these are and the next, both reviews of Japanese restaurants in london. for a long time the readers will know how much I love Japanese eating, so to go to two restaurants in london, which one of my favorite cuisines, then to the place itself, is quite magical. starting with tootoomoo. although not strictly japanese, tootoomoo serves a series of pan asian (from thailand, malaysia, china, vietnam, Indonesia and japan) inspired dishes in its four restaurants in london (whetstone, islington, highgate and crouch end where we went). the crouch end twog had a recent makeover and is all brightly colored wooden tables, chairs and walls that we sat in the red area, so the ruby shines in all my photos! To get rid of my taste buds, we started with warm will. I am not (yes) an expert, but I hope the next eight days will teach me something or two about this Japanese rice wine, which is produced by fermenting rice, which was polished to remove the outer layer. as I went to paris the following day and eat with moosh, who is not a meat fan, we are stuck with the lighter dressing on the menu, starting with the mixed sushi (tuna and lachs) and Yuzu-Maki (salmon, avocado, yuzu and zitrus mayo). the Sashimi pieces were incredibly fresh and light, and cut from the perfect part of the fish for sashimi. the rolls were good, not the best I had, but certainly not the worst, although a bit more could have been going on. they were also fresh, only a small bland."
