"General A good, possibly very good restaurant in Erkrath, not really, right? We were very sceptical... And there is! And what a good place, hidden, not a sign on the street. We were only attentive. Mahl by a coupon booklet (City Schecks Deluxe). A combination of leisure, fitness, relaxation and good food and wine. Parking without problems, available in sufficient quantity. We had reserved and were welcomed very friendly. I had to drive and so I asked for an alcohol-free aperitif mixed with fresh mint and elderflower syrup as the main components next to soda. Deliciously fresh and a great taste. Overall, the operation was perfect, friendly and competent. The food Who knows that I rarely forgive 5 stars is such a case today. Creative, fresh kitchen, also visually flawless and with a chef who, after eating, also interested in his guests and not only with “has it tasty?” My asparagus cream soup with smoke oil, super creamy and tasteful 1a (was offered from the menu) at EUR 4.50, followed by fresh (fresh) asparagus a beef fillet of the extra class (EUR 31,00) as a daily recommendation. Bärlauchkartoffeln was a little crispy and an orange sauce was matched and really delicious. My wife and I did what the taste was, but did not come. I had mentioned at the beginning that the cook came and I immediately had the opportunity to ask and the answer ar “Shourizo sauce”. Actually sharp, but here with the asparagus and potatoes a perfect combination! Oh, my wife also ate something: beef carpaccio with smoke oil and lyrmic asparagus salad. My wife noticed that she had rarely eaten such a good carpaccio and it's just great! The main course after the words of my wife “sensationell” a lamb that you “slip” in a dough coat with fresh spring vegetables and also with the Shourizo sauce. The taste buds were completely satisfied! The dessert had to be a complete picture: Rhabarbertörtchen (EUR 8.00) with Bärlauch-Quarkeis and three kinds of homemade ice cream (EUR 8.00) – a successful, sweet conclusion of a great gourmet evening. The ambience A very small negative factor is that guests of the sauna or fitness room go through the restaurant. Does not fit entirely with the otherwise very welcoming, high-quality and modern furniture. Great lighting. Nothing clean, but there's nothing to find out. View into the kitchen is given. Fabric napkins, creatively bound with a binding thread, well maintained, perfect sanitary facilities!"
