"Belle and Dragon has been open for 2 years now and it’s still going strong. Their inspiration for their cuisine is west (Belle) and east (Dragon). Learn something new everyday, Also, it’s better to call ahead to reserve seats because it gets easily fully booked. They currently have these events you might want to check out: Tuesday Trivia Night Thursday Music Trivia Night Then happy hour from 4pm to 9pm, you’ll get 50% off on beer and selected bar chow. Here are some of the dishes we tried: Wanton nachos (Php 410) I LOVE THIS! Crunchy wanton with mozzarella, cheddar, ground pork and their own sauce. Salt pepper calamari (Php 395) fresh squid dipped in batter and cooked until golden brown. These three dishes are great for spicy lovers. They all give the kick and flavor you've always craved for. Kung pow chicken (Php 350), Go chang wings (Php 480) and Honey hot sauce wings (Php 480). These bar chows are perfect with a glass of Hoegaarden and Stella Artois. Thank you Belle Dragon for having us."

"Had lunch here on a weekday and surprisingly, the place wasn’t that full of customers. I had what I usually order at Tokyo Tokyo Kani Salad, Honey Chicken Teriyaki and Coffee Jelly. Service is quick as they serve the food immediately. The chicken teriyaki was just okay but I really find most of their meals so oily. Their iced tea still tastes great and I love the coffee jelly I never miss getting this whenever I eat there."

"One of my favorite breakfasts and merienda dishes in town today. My favorites are the grilled cheese and the pulled pork! As soon as you try it! I tell you, you will definitely love it! You also have the black gulaman who was so good. Very old gulaman. :) I recommend everything that is real! A good choice! :) #justsaying"

"Had their version of bibimbap (good, though serving was kind of small for its price), but their spicy hühneryakitori was the one that stood out. as there is a Japanese restaurant, give them generous portions of sides free of charge (we had mais with mayo, hard boiled egg, seaweed, sweet and steamed egg). another great fund in poblacion, makati!"

"The concept of Trufa Pasta Bar is ingenious - it offers creativity for brave millennials who are dizzy to try something new. It gives you an alternative to cooking your own food; You can mix and match over a hundred combinations of pastas, sauces, and add-ons. <br> <br> Of those we've tried, I highly recommend trying Trufa (for La Salsa), Farfalle (for La Pasta), and Panceta and Gambas (for La Alegria) together. The taste and creaminess of the truffle sauce matched perfectly with the taste of their Spanish prawns and panceta. You'll be surprised how you finish the entire serving in just a few minutes! Other dishes I liked were the Huevos Estrellados and Las Fritas. Their Huevos Estrellados (french fries with ground beef and egg) tasted so good together. For me, the strong flavoring of the beef offset the neutral taste of the starch. The las fritas was simple but very addicting. <br> <br> What I really liked about this place was that their pastas were all al dente (note: I don't speak of al dente by chance, it's al dente by profession). According to the owner, they use quality ingredients that they source directly from their own suppliers to ensure it's the freshest it can get. It gets the quality you deserve for the price you pay. There is also this summer special, Menu Del Dia - for only Php 350+ you get a salad, pasta and smoothie. On a stressful day at work, watch out for lunch. <br> <br> I find the place very cozy and relaxed. The best way to enjoy the scorching hot weather in Manila is to have their pastas with their cold drinks (like El Sol and La Playa, which are both equally tasty) or to pair them with their affordable glasses of wine. The staff and the owner are very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely come back to this place when I am craving good noodles! ❤️"

"Tonkatsuya is a small Japanese restaurant on the lower level of the Palm Tower in Makati. This place is actually Japanese owned so their dishes were really authentic. Since I was craving tonkatsu late last year, we decided to try their version of the latest food craze. Similar to Yabu, they also offer various Katsu menus, such as Tonkatsu Set, Miso Katsu Set, Oroshi Katsu Set, Cheese Katsu Set and Chicken Katsu Set. These food seats come with Japanese rice, miso soup, and bean sprouts. The prices were relatively much cheaper than in Yabu, but I think the pork in Yabu is a bit thicker. Overall, the tonkatsu was good here too. This is a restaurant that people should try if they want to try something different."

"What I love about Taters is their flavored popcorn, brewed iced tea and fast service. &nbsp; You can mix and match 2 different flavors in 1 bag (both for Little League and Major League). &nbsp;Isn't that great? &nbsp;Depending on my mood, I like to have the savory flavor on top (barbecue/sour cream/nacho cheese) and the sweet flavors at the bottom part (butter or caramel)."
