"From outside, SASHIMI is what you would expect from any sushi house in the stripe mall. A forgotten name, a cheerful logo and the square shots of a nail salon, but on the inside, SASHIMI can be the happiest place on earth (ok ok... the 2nd happiest on earth ...better? If you go in, even the girls welcome you. I assume that they are regular, that “the tongue-n-cheek approach of the very enthusiastic greeting given by the hostess and sushi cuisine. Why also the ceiling look like Space Mountain with the black color and glittering glitter. Then there are the polaroids, hundreds of smiling faces of past guests decorating the wall. When you start reading the captions, how many birthdays and anniversary are celebrated here, you must believe that this tiny place of Vons is special. I was here a handful of time and SASHIMI was on my list for the freshest fish in the city. I often wonder if they had a special Purveyor that other sushi restaurants were not aware. My favorite role is on her boss Specialty Menu, the Tuna Takaki. Your topping of cilantro onion along with a side of ponzu sauce makes this role delicately spicy. When SASHIMI first opened a few years back, the spicy tuna rolls were more interactive, as the spicy Mayo concoction was left outside the roll and you had to immerse each cut on your wish. Today, the common tap sauce was instead mixed with the tuna. Boring. I'm not a fan of Philly roles on other sushi gestures just because most times I recognize a smoky aftertaste, but here I give them again cudos for the clean fresh taste of their salmon. If you even come for a togo order, they will serve you water and warm endaname. Good times... good times"

"Fresh, scrumptious sandwiches (really good chips too! across several locations i 've visited awesome friendly service!i usually get the #16 (turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo add cucumber extra mayo. with a bag of bbq chips sometimes their spiced ranch, listen this is what you do:*order sandwich cut in half*open your chips/unwrap sandwich *open your cute lil ranch cup*dip 1-2 bbq chips in ranch, crunch once*take a bite of your sandwich *repeat until u have eaten the first half*wrap the second half for later*realize later has come (often immediately *repeat*be filled with sandwich joy*go back, do it again tomorrow the bread is really fresh tasty has the perfect balance of fluff/chewiness/thickness for this kind of sandwich.staff this morning 8/27 was super nice i have always had positive interactions when i come in.thank you Jimmy John 's! oh their motto freaky fast is totally accurate. never tasted anything but fresh, barely have time to let the receipt cool before your made-to-order sandwich is ready."

"Showed up around 830. 2 of us for teppan. Took 10 minutes to get a table. Once seated, we waited about 15 minutes for anybody to come take our order it get us drinks. I think they were waiting for more people to join us and no one did. Food was great, staff was nice, chef was good. Nice restaurant overall. Always busy. Would avoid going during prime times or will be a long wait. I wish they took reservations."

"Solid poke spot in south OC with fresh quality fish, good flavor in the sauce, and a limited and basic but has the essentials topping options. Fast and friendly service and they have Hawaiian juices and fun drink options. For around $15 for a basic bowl, pricing is decent too."

"The location is great, they have a large terrace so you have a lake view while you eat. We are there for Taco Tuesday, so you need to order a drink to get Taco Tuesday. We also had Fajita, the part of Fajita was too small compared to the other Mexican restaurants. And only three beers on draft, that was disappointing."
