"Not the healthiest option but a delightful treat especially as the chips were very different from the usual bulk frozen ones. We tried the Belgium Chip Cone with an added serve of grilled fish and the Fish and Chip Cone. The serve of chips was...very generous and 1 between 2 of us would have been fine as even my husband could not finish his entire serve. The tartare sauce served with the fish /chip cone was delicious but was only on the top layer so you really do need extra bowls of dipping sauce. The attentive waiter did come and ask if we wanted more sauce but I was not sure if this meant paying an extra $4 per bowl so declined as we did already have bowls of the equally delicious curry sauce and Belgium mayo (should have asked of course). The serve of fish with this cone was very small but the batter was crisp and golden while the fish was fresh tasting and moist. fish and less chips would have been better. The Belgium cone with its mix of mayo and curry sauce as well as diced onion and flavored salt is delicious but, again, the sauce is on top and you are soon left with just plain chips unless you tip them onto a plate or get more sauce. The grilled fish was perfectly cooked, moist and full of flavor. Service was prompt and efficient and we appreciated the help yourself water with slices of lemon."

"Terrific!. They've got the best burgers in Northbridge, especially after Jus's awful new menu, and possibly my favourite chips in Perth. Their Tuesday-Thursday $10 lunch special is terrific.<br>

If they had a broader menu and smaller serves (I can never finish their regular size so the mini lunch special is great), they would be absolutely stellar."

"I was so excited when I stumbled upon Yummi Mummi one day last year a day I was so hungry, I almost ended up with a strawberry milkshake and chips gravy! Tucked away in the Central Arcade in the city, Yummi Mummi has a range of delicious wraps and rolls (and cupcakes which look divine will have to try them out next time . My favourite menu item is the toasted chicken corn wrap (roasted chicken breast, corn, cheddar cheese, spring onions black pepper mayo then the vegie wrap (spinach, pesto, cheddar cheese, tomato sliced button mushrooms on a spinach tortilla wrap and I don't even like/usually eat mushrooms! . "You can tell how good a sushi shop is by the crowds and Tokyo Station at lunchtime is like Heathrow. People everywhere, grabbing their sushi rolls or waiting for hot meals. Eating their food at the limited tables or having a picnic-style lunch at nearby Central Park. Yep, Tokyo Station is certainly a hit with the locals!<br>
They have a good range of gluten-free options and at $3.90 for a 4pc pack, they're pretty cheap too. All food is packed fresh each morning or made to order if you're finicky or just prefer your sushi fresh from the kitchen. <br>
We also tried a dessert that Tokyo Station markets as "Japanese cheesecake". It was delicious but is really only a simple lemon cheesecake mix poured into a pastry shell. Nothing I couldn't make at home but at $3/cake, it was a nice end to lunch on the run."

"It is appalling to see the death of an Iconic restaurant. I have frequent and the old crow so many years I have come to enjoy the lovely hospitality soothing tones of Billie holiday's voice while eating some beautiful smoked Delights that a chef with actual insight has created. Unfortunately the restaurant has now been taken over and reshaped into a generic Australian Eatery. On Entrance we were met with the service staff who informed us that the restaurant was now under new management and that the chef had changed the menu but still retained the all time favourites of Hush Puppies, dirty potatoes and brussel sprouts. After some abysmal service in which we had to ask for drinks we were finally ascertained by The Waitress who ordered us Hush Puppies advised her that we will be ready to order and assemble minutes full stop after receiving a hush puppies and wait another 20 minutes I finally had to a cost a waitress to come and take her order. We orderd the dirty potatoes the beef bourguignon and pork belly. Don't be fooled the dirty potatoes were a cheap deep fried bland comparison with a sprinkling of spring onion. Gone was the lavishes of dressing and smokey goodness. While the food was ok it lacked flavour, was overpriced and came out at different times with members of the table having to wait over 10 minutes so everyone could eat, this was followed by a complimentary salad. ( which we never had at the old crow because it was never anything to make up for). We decided to call it a night I went to the standard for a decent dessert and coffee which was lovely. It is a shame that this restaurant has been taken over by "new management". I would like to tell the management that this restaurant won't be afloat for very much longer if they keep up this level of poor service and food quality."

"For my 46th birthday I decided to visit an old favourite with my wife and 2 good friends. Olivia and Reid looked after us very well with welcoming, friendly and efficient service. The food was delicious and good value. The Moon Café has been around for as long as I can remember and has always been a great place to enjoy an evening of good food, drink and fun. I would have no hesitation in recommending The Moon Café in Northbridge for a fun and enjoyable evening where the food and service is 5 star!"
