"Extremely disappointing. The miso “soup” tasted like toilet water or leftover dish water. The California roll with crab tasted horrible. Didn’t love the albacore either but not terrible just not good. The salmon nigiri was the only good item. Staff was nice and they’re great about calling when the orders are ready for take out. I don’t think it was a coincidence that I was very sick GI after eating this meal. Wouldn’t return nor recommend."

"All was good but would've liked more vegan appetizer options and perhaps a homemade vegan cheese for their otherwise tasty pizza (they currently use Daiya which is average at best). Service and ambience was great. Good selection of music as well. Overall would go here again if friends wanted to eat there but if the choice was solely mine, I'd prefer a place with more effort in the vegan options as I appreciate equal efforts for ALL menu items vs. strong attention to most items but then settling for a lesser quality on others."

"First time at Nortons and it definitely won't be my last. We did first come over for the pastrami sandwich, but being a big steak sandwich fan, I ordered the East Coast Philly and it was delicious! Will definitely try the pastrami next time I go past Santa Barbara. Although it's a nice place, 4 Stars due to limited seating pandemic or not."

"Came with my daughter who was on crutches, it would have been nicer to have been sat in the lower level part than to have navigated the stairs for her. As far as food, the chicken picatta was terrific. Very lovely and felt healthy too. The pizza was also terrific. The lasagna was not my personal favorite as I prefer more cheese. The bechamel sauce was what tipped the scale for me to order it, but if I had a do over, I would have ordered chicken picatta dishes instead. Ordered a basil drink which was lovely and very stong on the basil. My daughter ordered the east side and it was perfect! I would definitely come again. Friendly service. Practicing good safety measures. Overall an enjoyable experience"

"We visited Oscar's for breakfast and had the buffet. The service was great; all staff member were very friendly and helpful. The coffee was really good and there was a juice bar with plenty of options. The food was really good and there were plenty of options."

"TL;DR: This is one of the best high quality Mexican restaurants in Southern California. This is an excellent quality craftsmanship Mexican culinary experience that is hard to beat. Order the guacamole, this is a must. I also recommend the fillet cup on Tacos or the Mol enchiladas. Absolutely one of my favorite Mexican restaurants experiences, hands down. Food and drink are unlike many Mexican restaurants I've ever had. At the beginning, the drinks are carefully prepared with good amounts of alcohol, or once again, and they are away from many artificial fillers. Delicious! The food is on another level. Everything seems to have been done from scratch. It is also well presented. The guacamole is the best I've ever tried in a restaurant. The food is well maintained and the aromas reflect the high quality that cooks in the production of the duck. The service here is also excellent. At first I thought maybe this place was a bit too nice for our family when we stroll around in sandals and holiday clothes. Not at all. They were friendly, helpful and fast. Excellent service. Many casual people here are just looking for amazing food. One of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever had. I thought I was pampered by eating in NorCal. I was wrong. 10/10"
