"We were here yesterday and were not disappointed. I have celiac and find it really difficult to eat places that have gluten-free options. the dame that served us was very glued over gluten-free and took time to tell us all the things that I could have from the menu and that all that went in the friier was gf. I had the 3 cheeses with chips, and my man had the steak and twill cake, both gf and delicious. then we had a lemon balm and a carrot cake, again both gf and really nice. we will definitely visit again and take our enkelin, another zöliakie."

"Amazing food we had bean burger, falafel wrap, bacon brie and cranberry toasty and a steak baguette. The food was all lovely especially my toasty and the falafel. We asked for steak baguette with no mustard mayo and received normal mayo instead so our fault. The steak was so plentiful my little brother didn't realise until he had nearly finished. Exceptional mains delicious desserts would seriously recommend the vanilla slice and winter warmer spiced apple juice and gin. Lovely visit have been before and sure will be back again soon."

"Called in here while in ulverston for a few days . Seems very popular with locals , gd menu with a specials board too we just wanted a snack . I had a bacon/sausage and egg roll was very tasty and well cooked . My partner had a tuna mayo toasty with salad and coleslaw which she said was lovely . Very nice food and very reasonable."

"This snack bar is in a beautiful location on Devils Bridge in Kirkby Lonsdale. For years, bikers have used this as a meeting place for a chat and bite to eat. We passed it on Sunday and it was packed out to the rafters. The next day we easily got a parking place and sampled a bacon and a sausage buttie very nice too. A tad expensive but we didn’t mind just for the experience of eating from the famous shack."
