"If you 're from West Side, you 've probably already dealt with your grief and mourning about the death of this place. I held off my review because snap judgments aren 't always fair and accurate..but HOLY ?it ! What an utter bastardization of this place!! If they actually hired a designer, was it someone they found on Groupon?! You work with the bones. Is the industrial look cool? Sure.. but it serves a purpose. To make a LARGE industrial space look attractive. You don 't take a place that has cozy charm and vibe of an old world pub and strip it of all its character. It basically looks like someone 's fixed off basement now. No one from WS is getting over this. Ruined. The positive: food has gotten MUCH better since the beginning of new ownership. Took me a while to step foot in here again after grand reopening in which we were served a Lunchable pizza and other terrible frozen fare. Much , much better now. The BBQ addition is good. They are currently building an outdoor pavilion which is looking great. This will be a fantastic addition for some nice outdoor seating and live music...plus it will get you away from the fixed off basement . : Definitely not my jam but you should try it yourself."
