"Not very friendly from the owner / manager we also went last year and found the same attitude therefore the review, he seemed like the native, but not the tourist perhaps he had only a few bad days and we were unhappy. the food is in order, the young girl was really nice. not really dog friendly. I hope they take this as constructive criticism."

"It did not look the biggest, but the look of the windows are beautiful! I ordered a tuna mayonnaise and sweethorn sandwich on brown brot, and it was delicious. I also ordered a pot tee for 1, and I could fill 2 cups. the service was very pleasant and conscientious. the only disadvantage for me was the cost, it was easy on the high side."

"Stopped for lunch. Restaurant was fully booked, which is understandable for a very popular tourist destination. What isn't acceptable though, was the very rude, abrasive way we were dismissed by the staff. HE was very rude when there was no need to be. Won't be back."

"We visited the museum and cafe at Lybster as part of our trip on the NC500. The museum is sited on the harbour and is upstairs within the building. It has lots of information about fishing in the past and a few interactive boards. The...cafe had indoor and outdoor seating. We just had a cup of tea outside."
