"Came to this restaurant a few years back and remembered it was delicious and top notch! 6/5 stars back then! I decided to revisit this place to see if it still lives up to the great taste we remembered, but sadly, it did not. The place has been nicely renovated to now have chairs and tables if you are coming with a friend. Ordered both the tantan noodles and tantan tsukemen. Both were a bit too salty for our liking unfortunately and the flavour was not as memorable. The egg was good though! FYI: the instant noodle version has changed as well (unfortunately it did not change for the better)"

"The staff didn't speak English but they did have English menus which clearly marked what was vegan. We went at lunch time and there was only one non-vegan option of a cheese sandwich, the rest was vegan. When we sat down we were given water, then once we ordered we were given a piece of tofu which had a nice enough taste and texture to be eaten by itself. We were then given soup which was made from an onion and mushroom broth with more tofu in the soup. It was reminiscent of French onion soup. I ordered the set lunch plate which was fried tofu and vegetables, three salads and rice. My mum and dad ordered sandwiches and they were both very big and filling. There was definitely enough food to keep us feeling full, but all the food was light and healthy. The service here is slow so dont expect a quick bite to eat, but if you're looking for a relaxing meal then I'd highly recommend"

So I went to the Grandberry Park site Umami Burger to try their latest offer to the all-vegan Botanical Burger. I was very impressed when I walked to see a self-service soda fountain, like restaurants in the good old USA of A. The endless refilling of well drinks is one thing I always wanted Japan offered. Unfortunately, it was only after I placed my order and went to fill my cup that I saw the "NO REFILL" sign So the beverage situation was somewhat disappointing, but the burger itself was NOT disappointed. Each small part was delicious in its own right, from fluffy bungalow to thick, creamy mayonnaise. But what really surprised me was the Patty. Through my estimate it tastes like an impossibility burger, with a very fleshy taste, only it is even thicker than the impossibility! What? If you like crispy pommes, you are in luck as the set comes with a very generous part of them. A little too generous. Next time I bring Ryuji to help me eat her. At 1738 Yen for the Burger Set this meal is not cheap, but it is money well spent if you have a fleshy burger without the cruelty EDIT Nov 2, 2020: took a star because we came for them today and they were sold.
