"Okay, listen, they know me, know that I'm saying it the way it is. we visited 2 weeks ago, not our first time of course, and eating is always better. for those of them who do not eat meat, I recommend the vege burger. it's delicious. the touching frit is also delicious, not meat for me. I recommend this place for all native and new comet in the opposite many parking places, great drinks and very friendly staff. suzie, you know who you are, many thanks for your smile and amazing service. francesca, many thanks also for their great service. dezi and jim."

"Was looking for a decent fish n' chip place in Altona since a lot of the others have changed management and gone downhill. No chance of this at Alex's, the owner has been running the place for over 30 years and it's your old school fish n chip shop you all remember from your childhood. The burgers are monstrous, I didn't realize until I got home what a serious burger it is, very fresh and tasty too. Doesn't feel oily like some do. Ordered a potato cake to go with it and he always throws in an extra plus a handful of chips. Have found my new local moving forward."
