"Great restaurant. Prices were low. Service was good. The food was delicious. We had a two person sharable fish meal for 250 pesos and it was a ton of food. The banana flan was a very good dessert as well. Would definitely return again and again."

"Locals recommend this place on the beach for quality food at friendly prices and I can't argue with that. Large plates of food come with meat/seafood, salad, rice, and french fries. Burgers are large and good. Good guacamole. The fries could be improved on IMO, but it's not a deal-breaker."

"Sal y Pimienta is simplicity itself. Simple, shaded tables set into the sand of the beach. Full bar serving excellent margaritas. The burgers are wildly varied, and all delicious. The shrimp dishes, especially the tacos and the salad, are delicious. Relaxed atmosphere, with wandering vendors...and musicians. HUGE portions! Friendly service, though not always quick. (Note: if you are in a hurry, Zipolite is not a good place for you). I have eaten here many times, and have never been disappointed. No desert. Very busy on Sundays."
