"In the rule, when in france the pizza places are ok and a good fall when other places are closed. Overall, this was at best very detailed, mistakes in the original order and then questioned by three employees what the problem was. the pizza was taken away to have missing items and then returned. all pizzas were not cooked long enough, as the cheese was not melted enough and was only bad. the personal did not seem to be really interested, and this was also reflected in the quality of food."

"We enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant, whilst sampling the Chateau's wines. Our guide was knowledgeable and amusing and all the staff were friendly. We also enjoyed our ride on the little train to the Citadel . Well worth a visit"

"Just go for the menu du jour, good home cooked food, superb service and great value. Don’t leave it too late as you’ll not get a table! We had to wait for 15 mins but it was well worth it."

"The location is great, overlooking the water and watching the sun set was amazing. The restaurant itself is mediocre. The tableware and cutlery are cheap, our glasses were watermarked and covered in fingerprints and the menus we were given were old and dirty. The service was not more than OK and the food was nice, but for the price you would expect amazing food and Michelin star service. At the end of the night, we went to reception and were presented with our €150 bill. No issue with this, but my wife asked if there was any way they could provide us with a small portion of milk for the morning for our coffee as all of the shops were closed. They kindly went away and came back with about 50 ml of milk in an empty water bottle. Nice of them we thought. Only to have that experience soured by then having to wait for a few minutes while they re-processed our bill and added €2 for the tiny bit of milk, enough for two cups of coffee. Find somewhere nicer and avoid the feeling of being seriously ripped off would be my advice."

"Despite our rather late arrival on a Sunday, we were served very well and very quickly. "There was very little to indicate that this was a restaurant no menu outside for example, but we persevered, having read good reviews here, and were not disappointed. There were just 3 choices for each course, but that suggests to me that the food is fresh and cooked to order. We both enjoyed a 3 course meal with a glass of wine and coffee for €60, including a tip. Not the cheapest meal we have eaten this trip, but definitely the best."
