"We popped out for take-aways and ended up sitting down because of the lovely vibe in the restaurant. The menu has a great variety (burgers, salads, chicken, steak as well as pizza and pasta). Our waiter was excellent, the food was great, we had a mediterranean salad and a maserati pizza, delicious and value for money!"

"Just to update, I received a call from Laine, the franchise owner of Lone Spur, and what a gem of a human Laine went through considerable effort to find my details in that Laine checked what number I had used for my loyalty points (which was my daughters card) got her number, called her, explained the situation to her, asked for my number and then called me a few times before getting hold of me. For that alone, I appreciate you, Laine. Throughout the call, Laine listened to my grievances and sincerely apologized for the behavior of her staff and, although I am not from the area, did offer a courtesy meal. So lesson learnt : we expect Spur to be 'Like Family ' and as such I was happy my concerns were noted and more so, appreciate that effort will be made so this doesn 't happen again. Thank you Laine How absolutely dissapointing !!! My family and I always visit the local Spur restaurant when travelling. So, on a business trip, my colleague and I agreed on dinner at Lone Spur Steak Ranch in Brentwood. While the food was ok (the steaks were slightly cold when they arrived) but the waitrons, and I mean ALL of them, were absolutely pathetic. Our waitress disappeared for 40min and in that time every waitron on duty walked passed us, noted our empty glasses and set aside plates and yet not one of them offered us any service !!! Suffice to say we will not be back. Very dissapointed."

"I drive from Alberton in the south of JHB to buy their roasted pork neck sandwiches for my mates. Their meats and bakery items will have you drooling. Love the outside area where you can sit and have a lunch."

"Tucked away from all the hustle and bustle of Monte. The portions are good, pricing is good, good ambiance for a coffee and light meal. There service could do it a bit more work. Took a while to get service when there café wasn't full."

"Iv been to this branch a couple of times.... Iv had some good and some bad times but overall it's been good... We often have their burger special that's always a winner... I tried their new fish on the menu I don't think it was the greatest but their meat is always a win"

"Me and my family have been there 4 times since opening and have had excellent service and food every time. My Wife and I Celebrated our 30th Wedding Anniversary there on Monday. Once again the food and Service was Awesome. I did not tell them about our anniversary until the bill came and the waiter (Joe) still went out of his way to treat us with something special before we left. Even though we had already finished paying. Turn 'n Tender You guys are Awesome."
