"I recommend this restaurant without hesitation. We took the Dousil plate with foie gras at 29€ for 2 with free choice at the cook for charcuterie and cheese. The floating island was very light. Everything was great. The staff is really very professional and adorable. Thanks for these little moments of history thanks to one of your employees."

"If you are at or off the road and need lunch (not on Saturday or Sunday), visit the kyriad - incredible fish buffet, meat, cheese and dessert for 16 € or 14 € for the buffet then the dish of the day. good quality and wine buffet at 6 €. We've been there for over 20 years and never disappointed. The poached salmon is really good!!"

"First dinner at the beginning of a 10 day trip to the Lot and Dordogne Valleys, and La Garenne remained a favorite, and that 's saying something given the consistent quality of meals we had throughout our travels. Gracious and welcoming service, and food that showcases...regionality, while not limiting itself to the immediate locale. Whichever direction you chose to go, this felt incredibility authentic and seasonal, and every dish delivered a melange of delightful flavors. I had the pork cheek with saveurs d 'orient to start, followed by the Dorade fish with the most perfectly seasoned ratatouille and sauce vierge. Whereas the former was warm and complex, the latter was light and uplifting, Reverse that for my wife, who started with shrimp tempura, followed by the fillet of beef. Again with great presentation, seasoning, and balanced flavor. Finish it all off with strawberries and pistachio cream for dessert, and you 've got yourself a proper ending to fabulous meal. "This is a very traditional but simple French restaurant. we went to lunch. we had 5 courses as well as wine and coffee for each €14. it was exceptional value for money. they get what they get, so they don't go to a choice. our lunch included sweet. suppee, meat ham and a traditional sausage, spaghetti with duck in a sauce, cheese, strawberry cream."
