"Atendimento estranho por um empregado e bom pelo aparente responsável.Na verdade a avaliação seria um 3,5 (Bom).Sopa excessivamente salgada.Bolas de atum muito boas de entrada.Boa carta de vinhos.Uns pratos bons outros sem graça, por exemplo frango grelhado com laranja e gengibre esperava sabor mais forte/ complexo deste contraste, mas mal se notavam.Massa fresca vinha cozinhada além do ponto.De resto estava tudo bom.A revisitar."

"This is a place I 've always driven by, but for no real reason, other than the look of the outside, which could be really cheesy and verging on kitsch. However, it was summer and other places were crowded at the beach so we headed inland. The restaurant is between Foz do Arelho and Caldas da Rainha, closer to Foz. It was a Saturday and it had posted leitao on Saturday and Sunday (Sabado Domingo). Now I know why it is always busy for Sunday lunch. Leitao is baby pig and it is only good if freshly cooked, which it was. Sometimes, portions in PT are too big; but here, one was just right per person. There were great french fries with it and it was highly recommended. Lots of people ordered desserts (sobremesas). It is heavily favored by locals so more of a red wine place than a white. Our first bottle of white was flat and we turned it back. The second (a different wine) was great. We then ordered a half bottle of the same and the full bottle is a much better version of the wine than the half-bottle. The wine that we turned back was Bucelas (arinto grape) and we notices a number of bottles stored upright in a very warm area of the restaurant, so a likely reason for the problem with the wine. My friend and I both had leitao. Highly recommended and a bit pricey (I think each plate was 15 euros. We 'll definitely go back when we want leitao. Otherwise, the menu had a good selection of other grilled meats and fish."

"Called in for dinner and should have realised as the restaurant was empty at 8.40pm that it may not be good.Very simple and plain restaurant with little ambiance but wouldn't mind if family run with good food.I ordered a plain meal, an omelette which was OK. My husband wanted a pasta dish but the waitress was pushy and encouraged him to have a steak which was awful. She did not ask how he would like it cooked, it came rare and he had to return it.As we waited we could see the food coming straight from the freezer and into the microwave.Would not return. Ever."

"Yes this place is noisy and busy. Its just like being in a hotel buffet. If you are prepared for that then overall its a great experience. There are soups/salads/starters and a choice of about 10 main meals fish/meat/veg with rice/chips/pasta/potatoes. There is a huge range of desserts and one drink is included in the price. The chefs constantly refill the food and it is kept at a good hot temperature. We enjoyed all the food and had no concerns about hygiene. Its great to just eat at your own pace and actually despite the busyness it is not chaotic and well managed. You simply cannot beat this for value!"

"Super sympa. C'est dans le genre de Starbucks mais en beaucoup moins cher.Y a pleins de choix. Nutella Macchiato à 2€. Mokka Oreo à 2,50€. On peut aussi déjeuner des burgers, des bagels et autres snack. Et les glaces... Super génial !!! Des Sundae à toutes les sauces! Si vous avez envie d une pause douceur c est la qu il faut aller."
