"I came to eat here a beautiful summer evening, just arrived in the charming little town of Cauterets. This restaurant is suitable if you are hungry, but I recommend you go your way if you are looking for exquisite, original and elaborate dishes. However, I still have to admit that this mixture between the Breton cuisine and the Italian cuisine is quite amazing: pizzas, pasta, cakes... there are for all tastes. I ordered a crêpe whose cooking was not very happy, I almost said that it was frozen at the beginning and that it was warmed with the micro wave because of the slightly pasty texture and the rather mediocre taste. But let's go. My dear travel companions made the relevant choice of a bruschetta that turned out to be delicious. "After a 10 minute wait I approached the old blonde lady behind the bar, who I kindly asked what beers they had on pression, she looked at me, void of all emotion and said, Affligem...Heineken. Then I asked which beers they had in bottles, to which she merely pointed at the table where we were sitting and said they are on the menu and turned her back to me. The waither finally came over with a guilty look on his face and was kind enough to take our order and serve our 6 year old a crepe made out of cardboard. Needless to say when we left the restaurant, I made sure to leave the door wide open in the middle of winter and said MERCI with a fake smile on my face. I 've lived in France for the last 18 years and I have never seen such a cold reception anywhere. Avoid this place at all costs. Would reccomend anywhere in the town except for this hole."
