He was the head butcher when Converse Meats first opened under Tallion Woodward. Then he went on to be a butcher at Brookshire grocery store.Do not let negative reviews from previous owners keep you from giving them a chance.Dakota and Jessica are both hard working and honest people they will do everything in their power to keep their customers happy.Give them a chance to prove they will do a great job."

"Great food! I’ve been searching for good BBQ in Texas for over a year. This is the best I’ve had by far. Ribs and sausage were awesome. The Brisket was even better. The sweat tea was on point too. We will be back!"

"The quality of the brisket was best moderate. Turkey and sausage were good. Pages are also good. Service was good. They had no beer when I left what is open a sin and the main reason that there are two stars instead of three. The prices correspond to Black's and Cooper's, and these places have much better food. Overall, not impressed and I definitely had better for similar prices."

"Server was incredibly rude. I never asked if we need to refill drinks. I never asked if the food was okay. Ordered a medium-rare prime rib. It came out medium good. My husband's middle rib was much rarer than mine. Just an overall bad experience."
