"We are locals who recently moved to this neighborhood. Looked it up in the net and what a great surprise. Located in a palace like house, dating nearly three centuries, that use to belong to Marquês de Pombal, serving as the relaxing spot on his journeys between Lisbon and his Quinta de Oeiras. Very cosy, kept its ancient beautiful decor. Nice variety of delicious dishes at very reasonable prices. The same applies for the wines. Attentive service. Congratulations. Definitely to be repeated."

"The restaurant is housed in an old house with a private dining-room. Decor is not consistent and the bar area looks like an afterthought. While waiting for our table a request for gin and champagne went unheeded as the barman negligently told us that they were out of both items!!!!The meal was disappointing. A dish of steamed fish with sea algae which should have been bursting in the mouth was soggy and over seasoned! Friends were also disappointed with their selection."
