"Snack Antalya is in the centre of Mechelen town centre. It is a standard snack bar cum restaurant, selling umpteen types of kebabs (lamb, beef, fish,chicken) wrapped in yummy mansize crispy turkish bread sprinkled with or without sesame seeds with umpteen types of salad you can choose as filling with your choice of meat topped with various kinds of sauces - either eat in or takeaway. Stop press...they also serve meat and salad dishes on a plate if you fancy proper lunch or supper and want to eat in. Not forgetting children and youngsters ,they also do fried chicken, fried fish, beef or lamb middle eastern sausages and burgers all served with chips. The prices start from under 5euros for turkish bread, donar kebab filled with salad - topped with a sauce of your choice & accompanied with a generous amount of chips; soft drink/coffee/tea cost extra (under 2euros). Suggestion: hot from the oven turkish bread sprinkeld with toasted sesame seeds filled with mergez sausage, salad of your choice and topped with garlic chilli sauce: cost 4e50c. The interior is half taken up by the bar section at the front of the entrance filled with colourful salads; behind the bar the cooked meats are prepared on one side and on the other the chips are fried the Belgian way! Once you have placed your order at the entrance they will bring over the food and there is no need to remind them. The interior is clean with handful of tables and chairs at the back of the bar. The staff have a genuine smile on their faces. You pay once your have finished eating and thrown away your paper plate and cups into a large bin. "Whether at noon or at night, we are never disappointed. Value for money is excellent, the card changes often, quantities and quality are always at the rendezvous. The sauces are always excellent and generously served, which changes the current restaurants where there are only micro points of sauce or ridiculous commas. The desserts are top and homemade. I like the short decoration this restaurant is a big blow of heart. Go on, you won't be disappointed!"
