"Solid Chinese joint right next to Lio Beach! The fried tofu itself didn’t quite live up to my expectations, but the sauce was delicious, as well as every other dish! I would’ve happily gone again, pricing wasn’t even too bad considering the location. The eggplant and pork was especially tasty. If you’re checking out Lio Beach (which you should, there are dank sun lounge chairs, great sand, fewer people, and a sick sunset view), Fat Chou is the surefire way to go."

"Good Filipino food at a good price. The service is very kind too. Authentic and I recommend the beef soup (bulalo). Then came later that night and had the same food and it was terrible. And the workers just sit there , ate and talked with each other. Couldn’t even get a water"

"I'm a vegetarian and it's hard to find good food in Philippines without meat but this place does it well. So delicious! And so many locally sourced ingredients too. I've been a bit sick with a cold, and the ginger spice juice was excellent and made me feel much better. Had the silangan Buddha bowl and it was yummy too. Def recommended, I plan to come back here again before I leave."

"Maybe it was an off night for the kitchen and front house, but my experience here was unenjoyable. I ordered the baby back ribs, seeing other reviews that praised them. I received a single large spare rib that was 95% bone with very little meat. When i mentioned this both to the manager and the chef when he came out, they both insisted this was baby back ribs and that is what the supplier sent and that they serve by weight. So i payed for a whole lotta bone and a bit of attitude as well. No interest at all in making it right. On the positive side, my cocktail was good. But I'm not coming back."
