"The staff was beautiful and extremely helpful. the evening meal was made on the grill and absolutely delicious. the renovated lobby dining room is warm, sunny and welcoming. but my favourite part? hang with friends and make reminders whether it was in the cozy bar lounge, our morning hike in the magnificently shielded veranda or to foot the ground to the crystal clear river that winds through the annoying."

"They have a fixings bar that has toppings to add to your sandwiches like, lettuce, tomatoes, onions. which is great because i like my veggies! Also at no extra charge. roy rogers has a variety of food. From burgers to fried chicken. They recently started a REWARDS program so definitely worth every visit! ?"

"During ski season, Horse and Hounds is always a special spot for a group dinner. It is wonderful. A real New England Holiday Inn . Fireplaces blazing, coats hung on hooks, drinks poured in the bar room, and a fine menu. The dining room is noisy, but that 's due the the fun everyone is having. It wouldn 't be winter in the White Mountains without a night time drive through the Notch and an evening here. Even the full length, original urinal in the men 's room is a treat. Separate hot and cold water of course in the sink. 1968 or 2018, you are never quite sure, but never need to care."

"I'm a local and frequent chef joes bistro because it's delicious! It's a perfect way to end your day of skiing at cannon. My favorite dishes are the oysters straight up or Rockefeller, best burger, Asian dumpling appetizer... the list goes on. I've never been unhappy with my meal. There aren't many really good and creative style restaurants in the north country however you won't be disappointed here. I hear his catering business is just as good. Sorry no pictures, next time."
