"Tried to order large Special fried rice and beef and stay curry which was $26 but I asked for no vegetables and they tried to charge me an extra $15. Then the Muppet so called cook says they can provide beef and no vegetables but will charge me $30 because it comes with no vegetables. No other places I've been to charges $15 extra due to my request. Ridiculous and will stick to my regular place than come here. Lucky to get 1 star!!!! NO OTHER RESTAURANTS OR TAKE AWAY PLACES DO THIS TO THEIR CUSTOMERS!! Will never come back as its very ordinary food regardless"

"I had read the reviews for this place and was a dining of Melbourne, which I wanted to try this so-called Hidden gem. In all honestly, it can be hidden. I ordered the Chicken and the beef bento the Tempura Bento and my wife. <br>
My bento was huge (doubles of everything), but Tempura was thicker than beerhorse and had not been drained at all. After 2 minutes, all articles floated in my bento in 5mm oil at the end of each section in Bento. Yuk. The chicken of my wife had no taste or spice, and the beef curry had been so heavily dilated and ruined a beautiful tasting curry. Service average, like 5 minutes took until the table was cleaned, and the place is badly presented. I can not believe that someone compared this place to Melbourne here. <br>
Try Samurai on Glenferrie RD or Uzu Japanese in Caulfield. <br>

"I have always found Indian restaurant food to be over priced. While everything on the menu is easily cooked at home, using far better cuts of meat, it is nice to have someone else clean up. I found the samosas delightfully fast and the sauce accompanying was to die for. The mains (prawn curry and beef curry) were somewhat disappointing. The prawns were few and far between, but fresh and crunchy. The beef has been boiled to death and lacked any real flavour. The rice was well, rice, and the bread fresh. The service was absolutely first class. Overall, I have still not changed my mind about lack of value in Indian restaurants."

"It was cold and soggy. then I took my first bite and almost saved it straight! probably the worst Mexican food I ever had! cold, bland, barely meat (and the huh was like mush instead of meat dumps) and even the nachos had no taste at all (which is quite difficult to get it wrong with nachos would not order food from there again after the meal this evening"

"We went here for a special family dinner. Service has improved from the last time we were here. They really seem to be stepping up to the plate (pardon the pun). We booked a round table for five and the table was set for six, but the pleasant waiter was happy to remove the extra setting after prompting. Thank you. Service was attentive and has vastly improved since this place opened. All dishes came out in synch and in a timely manner. We shared the steamed crab dumplings and the prawn dumplings for our starter. Four steamers of three, so we had two each, per person, plus a couple extra to fight over.
