"After a visit to San Bavón Cathedral in Ghent (Belgium), with its inescapable polyptic El Cordero Mystic of the Van Eyck brothers, we can extend the pleasure going to taste one of the city's specialties in the restaurant of the same name Het Lam Gods. The environment takes on the figures of Adam and Eve, among others. A delight for the eyes. As for the food, you'll love your palate. Among the dishes proposed, I opted for a Waterzooi Kip (i.e. a waterzooi to the chicken) to 17 euros. You can also choose one more euro, the Waterzooi Tornillo (the fish). Accompanied by a beer made in Ghent, the Gruut. I would like not to forget to mention the friendly and efficient service. The only drawback is that the credit card machine didn't work that day. Het Lam Gods opens from 11 a.m. The closing days are Tuesdays and Wednesdays. In another of the beautiful interior rooms, the Het Lam Gods has a terrace. The property is located opposite the tourist office, but attention, that this restaurant should move in the coming months."
