"This is a cool place, and the main part of the restaurant actually is a log cabin. I need go come back for crabs because probably 90% of the other tables were there specifically for the crabs. They take reservations and seem to be quite busy at peak times, so I would recommend getting on the list before arrival if you want dinner on a Friday or Saturday. We arrived on a Friday at about 7:15, and got a table for two immediately, but the place was packed.Service was excellent, and prices were good for the quality. The food was tasty and filling, with good portions, but not off-the-charts amazing flavors. The crab cakes had almost no shell bits which was appreciated.Would be happy to eat here again.Parking: They have a large, free parking lot. That said, this place can get BUSY so if you're coming at 6pm on a Friday you might have to park on the edge of the street if the parking lot is full."

"I ran into this place just over a year ago now on my bicycle. I love exploring VT on two wheels so while I was not especially hungry, I wanted to at least check it out. I ended up spending 1.5hrs off the bike chatting with the owner of the place, discussing all sorts of things and sharing a meal. My lack of cash money did not prevent him from from being extremely generous and letting me sample all of his delicious home-made BBQ. I still owe him! A true Vermont establishment. He does it for the good in it, not for the profit. Hoping to make it back there this weekend to repay his kindness. Check it out."
