"Great place to grab an after work pint, nice choice of local beers with a good mix of hipster IPAs and traditional ales. The new look suits the place and the staff are friendly and attentive. Good sized outdoor area to catch the last of the sun's rays feels a bit like a crèche with so many kids running around but this is actually perfect for us as we have a couple of our own!"

"Visited the Airport Tavern on our last day in England, when we stayed one last night near the Airport. It was the closest pub. Outside and also the inside are not very inviting and it felt a bit strange at first. A horse race was on TV which every guest and the personnel followed with interest. We chose a table and waited a while until the bar lady explained, that we have to order our drinks and food at the bar. While we were waiting for our food, we had a good view in the kitchen and the chef was busy preparing the meals of some other guests. One of them had a complaint about his steak and everything was solved in a very respectful manner. The chef then showed his guest his meat and he could decide, which he prefers. After that we had our meals (Tavern Burger and Beer Battered Fish&Chips which was exceptional delicious. We were really surprised in a very positive way. Also the chef, who brings the food by himself was at all times super friendly and attentive. Additional to the standard menu, the tavern offers on boards daily specials, which all sounded very interesting and yummy. The facilities and furniture are old and very used, and the tavern is separated in the restaurant and the bar with billard(pool? and gaming machines."

"I love the feel at this pub. It's got the vibe of a local but they're very welcoming to newcomers as well. There's a good selection of beers and lagers and the food supplied by the amazing Ethan Watson is fantastic. He cooks mainly Caribbean dishes every day/evening there. Well worth trying! I rate this pub for its friendliness, range of drinks and the food. Ten out of ten for sure!"
