"The new kebab skewer tastes very tasty and is real meat that is tender, juicy and fibrous. Not like other kebab shops, where the skewer can be anything but no meat. I'm happy to pay more if the quality is right (clean meat without additives, fresh salad, etc. . There is rarely a skewer like this in Switzerland."

"Nothing has changed in this restaurant for years, from the staff to the furnishings. Cash payment only if you know it's ok and don't stick the accepted cards on the door. We were a group of 7 people. Otherwise not many other guests. We were asked for drinks exactly once after that no one was interested anymore. We wouldn't have liked to have had coffee or dessert either. But somehow you lose interest. The food was okay so far. Mixed salad not really mixed though. Bought sauce. I used to go there often now I know why I won't go there anymore. There are better restaurants in Herisau."

"The food was absolutely delicious specially my dish, salmon steak with spinach for lunch. The service is impeccable. Some of them can speak english very well. I have a chance talking to one of the chef, saying how nice the food is. He might not understand my poor german with busy look but I can see his attention and how he enjoy his cooking. Conclusion, food is impeccably delicious, service is excellent, price is a bit high but understandable. So next time When I come back to Herisau, I will visit this restaurant again."
