"We (twenty of us) were in Tamworth for a State Bowls Finals and a local suggested try the Longyard Hotel for a good feed.Not only was it a great feed, but the service was spot on, the aesthetics were great and the prices were outstanding.As I was not over hungry I decided to have a entree the Punters Plate, for two, expecting to get two of each, spring rolls, meat balls, prawn cutlets, calamari rings and arancini balls would do me just nicely, for $18.00 and would be good value. My wife ordered the daily special char grilled chicken and calamari salad $22.00 and one of our friends ordered the lamb shanks $25.00. Check out the photos, if you're in Tamworth and don't have a feed from the Longyard, frankly you're nuts."
