"This place is as non-chain as you can get! It's in a sketch part of town, it looks completely sketch and the food is fantastic. I mean for fast food. Service was personable and the environment- local. I am super glad I stopped by. Totally worth it just for the experience!"

"The young female cashier is very rude. Bad attitude. I recently went there. They always call the order while you wait so I figured I’d sit so I don’t block where people order their food. There were a few people who came in after me, sat down, and got their food before I did. I got up and my order was there. They were calling everyone else’s order. She just ignored me and I asked her if she provided the sauces I requested and she said yes. When I got home, there were no sauces, or napkins. She’s been rude every time I went by there. But definitely never going there again. Not a good place to go"

"The rice had a clean flavor very filling. The Plantains had a nice crispy skin layer, while the rest of the fruit remained moist and piping hot. I found this first taste of Africa, very timid and safe. I’m aware that similar to Indian cuisine African cuisine is usually somewhat bombarded with stronger spices and flavors. Ms. Nkechi insists my return visit that I should try the Soup, Fu-Fu (heavy in African Yam or African Gari) and an exotic delicacy offered on Friday’s Special-All Day (lamb and goathead prepared Nigerian style)."

"My sister recommended this place and she was not wrong. Amazing food and great (very attentive service. Everyone that walked in was a regular. They sat themselves at their usual table and the waiter already new their name and order. Felt very warm, welcoming and homey. Will definitely return due to today's great experience. My son and nephew enjoyed and shared a large order of french fries and two beef plain tacos. See you soon."

"I had delivered food and was disappointed overall. order 2 meats and 2 pages that were over $33 top (and that was with a discount code). on any other BBQ spot is 2/2 combo more than enough for two people, but not here. get 2 small ribs and 2 very dry members. all bbq sauce could not hide the inner dryness of this left. to their credit the next courts were good and not super small. could only give a chance next time. if it's better, I'll edit this review."

"Disappointed after a long drive to get there. Just went for dessert and got coconut tart and milk pie, which tasted fake. It tasted like they use lime juice out the bottle and not fresh limes. Also got a bun, which was bland. Try putting some spices in them?just taste like flour water and sugar. The one good thing was the coconut tart. Based on the reviews the stew chicken and rice and beans is good. I?ll give that a chance next time, and will exclude desserts."

"Food is good, it's kind of a hole in the wall you can very easily miss it. The only drawback is that it's cash only, luckily I had some spare change my car to complete for the burrito I bought. You don't get any condiments when you order to go, no hot sauces, you do get a little bag with some jalapeños in it. Which was good enough for me. Prices have changed from previous posts."
