"This is a typical Austrian restaurant situated in the center of Ischgl. We came here for dinner, the restaurant was almost 100% full, however there were only two waitresses to handle over 15 tables with tens of diners - simply not enough staff and therefore one waits quite a substantial amount of time until the order is taken and brought to the table. I waited over 15 minutes just to receive a beer. We ordered two ravioli dishes and one lamb plate. The ravioli was drenched in oil almost to the point of not being edible. The lamb was tasty however the sides dishes, including a potato dish, were also sunk in oil. Another point to mention is that the restaurant is over heated, and we felt like we were in a sauna. This is one restaurant which we will not return to. By the way, the eatery does not accept reservations and therefore you are seated if there is room."

"Was there for the second time now and again it was amazing: We took the tasting menu and each dish was wonderfully inventive, cleverly presented and very tasty; the chef made some unusual and clever combinations, which worked perfectly; the chef deserves a Michelin Star, but I understand they don't cover the region, which is indeed very sad; price for the tasting menu is quite fair, it is just very disappointing that management tries to balance this via the wine menu, which is totally overpriced (EUR 20. on average per glass of good, yet not transcendental, wine is a bad joke); interior is a mix between mountain and contemporary style, which I quite liked; service was impeccable; go without hesitation, but pay attention to drink prices."

"Menu was very limited and expensive minimum of 25 30 Euro for a main course, but then extra for each of the pages and sauces. On the pages I mean Pommes, etc., separately calculated for Pommes!!? Steak wasn't even so good. The atmosphere was not existent, it feels like you were fucked away and thinking. If it wasn't our first night at the resort with a few hungry teenagers, we would have gone out."

"Great delicatessen, coffee shop, with a really cosy and ambient bar upstairs. I loved this place ! Coffee was great quality and strong with a range of wines available too. You will spot it by the distinctive wooden log benches outside where you can enjoy a nice hot gluhwien after your ski ."

"We've had dinner at Trofana Alpin Restaurant twice before but this was about years ago. It felt like it was yesterday, nothing has really changed. But I mean this in a good way : We had the Fondue Chinoise and the portions are huge....Lots of meat, baked potatoe with sour cream, French fries, sauteed vegetables, pickled vegetables and different sauces. Everything was great. My husband managed to squeeze down a portion of pancakes with ice cream which was also great. Our son had sausages with rice and vegetables, nothing fancy, but he was happy enough. Kids can also get half a portion of every dish on the card besides the Kids menu. The restaurant was quite full and it was clear that they were a little understaffed for so many people. However we they handled the situation very well and we didn't miss a thing. Everyone was also very friendly. We're happy to recommend Trofana Alpin Restaurant to both families and groups of friends. It's also very reasonably priced."
